Deputies Serving the Sheriff (may not be complete)

Deputy sheriffs serve "at the will of the Sheriff" and had to be appointed to their position every time the Sheriffs' term expired.

1913 - Cornelius J. Collins Chief Deputy and Jailer(Sheriff Collins son), Deputies Frank Marcellus of Butler, L.S. Seymour of Wolcott, D.C. Contant of Williamson and Special Deputy for the R.S. & E. (Rochester Syracuse and Eastern Trolley Line) Charles Marvin of Syracuse, a former sheriff of Onondaga County.

1916 - Jerry Collins of Lyons, George Fowler of Huron, L. D. Seymour of Wolcott, Finley Finkle of Ontario, George Baker of Walworth, George Emory of Sodus Point.
